2020 was meant to be the year my business got going. Although I am lucky that the decision to go freelance meant there was less stress and pressure when lockdown hit, it did also mean that plans to grow my business had to slow down.
And I took a break from social media and blogging* at the end of the year, so I could start afresh in 2021. Clearly events and announcements over the past week or so have somewhat scuppered those plans, but better late than never as they say and here's my first blog post of the year.
*I did write a guest blog on Social Media Strategy, which you can read over on Ready Steady Websites
So what have I got lined up for 2021?
I'm kicking off my social media workshops on Tuesday 12th January. Several more dates are planned in through until March. I'm focussing on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook. Prices start from £25 and all the details and booking info can be found here.
I'm continuing my own training and development, and am studying to become A Facebook Certified Community Manager through their Blueprint training. Alongside this, I'm taking part in various CPD Accredited training courses through my membership of Digital Women .
I'm working with clients, on brand licensing and social media strategy, and hope that once schools and childcare return, I'll be able to take on more projects - I'll keep you updated!
Nicola
