2021 in Numbers

What a year 2021 was. Not quite the full working year that I'd hoped for, but after a shaky start involving more home schooling than planned, it picked up and turned out to be pretty successful

Here are some of the highlights....

I ran 11 workshops (a mix of in person and online). Some of these were with the fab team at Social Mums and I have really enjoyed working with Anna at HelloSocial.Media too.

I delivered a Reels Masterclass at Maven (Winchester) and Natalie and I are planning a series of events in 2022 - sign up to my newsletter to hear more details when announced.

I've also delivered 24 1:1 training sessions, and continued working with regular and new clients too. It makes me really proud when I see the results clients have achieved after a training session with me.

As well as working, I've also continued to learn.

I'm a member of Digital Women, and really enjoyed running a session at their Digital Skills Fest in May. Alongside Emma York, I also hosted the first regional Digital Women meet up, and am looking forward to the next one in January.

As in-person events returned too, I thoroughly enjoyed attending conferences and trade fairs, including Social Day and Brand Licensing Europe.

I love the flexibility of remote working, but connections made at in person events do really help build relationships.

It's also been a year of firsts. I wrote my first chapter for a business book, which was included in the Shine on You Crazy Daisy series (mine's in Volume 2). It's a collection with each chapter written by a different person, all sharing their stories of how and why they started their business, with the aim of inspiring everyone to follow their dreams.

I was included on the front cover of Freelancer Magazine too.

I've also been appointed as a Trustee of The Light Fund, the licensing industry charity. It's an honour to give something back and help make a difference alongside an inspiring group of people.

I'm signing off for 2021, but there's lots in the pipeline for 2022 and I'm looking forward to getting started. If you'd like to work with me, I'd love to hear from you.
